I had one doc that was a list of every scene Bea's in, and another doc that was a huge list of links of clothes I liked by designers who include and celebrate plus-size women. Then I went through scene by scene and "dressed" her with clothes inspired by those actual garments! (Every garment in the book goes up to at least size 20 in real life.) Bea's style definitely reflects my taste, but how I would dress if I had all the money in the world. Writing Bea has pushed me to be more daring in my own fashion choices, which has been a lot of fun! Thanks so much for reading.(less)

Hello! I got an advanced copy of One to Watch and absolutely loved it. The writing flowed so well and each character was distinct and believable. Since I probably have to wait a while for your next book, I was wondering if you would share some of your favorite romance/love stories? I love a good happy ending, but am often a bit perturbed by the writing of and repetition in romances.

If you liked the mixed-media aspect of One To Watch, I definitely recommend Attachments by Rainbow Rowell (also Fangirl and Eleanor and Park) and Amy & Roger's Epic Detour by Morgan Matson. Jennifer Weiner definitely kicked the door open on plus-size protagonists, and In Her Shoes remains a fav. I *devoured* The Royal We by Heather Cocks and Jessica Morgan (royal fanfic IS my Bryptonite!), and ditto all three Crazy Rich Asians books by Kevin Kwan, Red White & Royal Blue by Casey McQuiston, and The Hating Game by Sally Thorne. And obviously you can't go wrong with anything by Jasmine Guillory, but The Wedding Date is still my fav. :) Hope this is helpful!! Thank you again for reading, have a great day!!(less)
