This one follows closely in time but now Jon, Tom, and Beltsaros are a thruple.
Baltsaros lies to Jon every chance he gets. Tom is in the middle, keeping things from Jon out of loyalty to Baltsaros. (view spoiler)[ They whole ship almost starves to death, freeze to death, of succumb to a spore that makes them kill themselves or each other. When they finally make it to their destination, Baltsaros gets himself zapped by the king until he has no idea who he is. (hide spoiler)]
The whole book was mildly frustrating because I almost constantly wanted the characters to make different decisions than the ones they were making. I would still give this 4.5 stars. On to the next....more

Reading this book actually made me tense, in that, "I don't know what this psycho will do or how grotesque and disturbing this will get but I can't wait" kind of way. I guess it's been awhile since I've read any horror; not that this is horror, but it does have a couple of horrific events take place.
I loved every minute of reading this book, while disliking pretty much every character. The sex scenes were frequent and scorching. Highly recommended if "dark" is your thing. ...more
