Nigella Express: Good Food, Fast

I'm having a cookbook clear-out, and have decided to leave reviews for some of the cookbooks before I donate them to charity.
For years I've loved watching Nigella's cookery shows on TV, but this is one of those cookbooks that has gone almost completely unused. In fact, I'd be surprised if I've done more than a couple of recipes from it over the years. I think they are perhaps a little fancy for my tastes. Having said that, it is still a very good cookbook with good illustrations and easy to follow recipes.

I will take your word for the cookbook reviews, my kitchen appliances barely tolerate me in the kitchen because I am so utterly horrible in my attempts to cook :-) When I have friends over they do the cooking

Ha ha, your comment about your friends doing the cooking when they come over did make me giggle :-)
I love cooking, but generally only savoury meals. I'm not really into baking, other than the occasional cheese straws, soda bread, and herb dumplings.
To be honest, I'm not very good at following recipes. I tend to use them for inspiration, then throw my own choice of veg, meat, fish, herbs and spices in and hope for the best.

The measure of a true chef. Take the inspiration and run with it.
