This might've been over 700 pages, but I devoured each and every one! Nyla K. books tend to be either verrry hit or verrry miss, and I'm glad to say this one was the former! And it did not hold back on the angst! These two really went through it before they were happy and confident in their relationship with one another. But they were also like two magnets, and no matter how much internal and external conflict tried to rip them apart, Kyran always ended up back at Avi's door.

There was, in typical Nyla K. fashion, a ton of fantastic spice, and yet due to the long page count we also really got to know each of these men and what made them tick. Their romantic and emotional moments were never overshadowed by the sexual, which I really appreciated. I will say it got pretty heavy there at the end, so check trigger warnings.
