What a delightful new cast to enjoy in this year off from reading a new Thursday Night Murder Club mystery. I do think I actually like this cast even better than TNMC. Can it be true?
Here's what I liked:
👍Amy Wheeler is in the personal protection business and she has skills! Who will protect her when an assassin is zeroing in?
👍Rosie D'Antonio is the perfect foil for Amy. They may not be of the same generation, occupation, or economic class; but a fast friendship is forged through adversity.
👍Steve Wheeler is a such a sweet father-in-law to Amy. His drive to protect her will pull him out of his shell, off his couch, and into a pair of shorts for the first time.
👍A cat named Trouble. 🐈⬛
👍Exotic locations like St. Lucia and Dubai. And private flights all over the world. Yes, please!
My one quibble would be not getting to see much of Adam Wheeler, Amy's husband and Steve's son. Perhaps when Richard Osman returns to this series he will play a larger role.

With Richard Osman's book being adapted into film, I do want to give it a go. But, maybe I should give this one a shot first, instead. Happy it was a success for you, Darla. Wonderful review! 💜

Also thrilled to see that Pierce Brosnan is in the cast. Hubba hubba.

Didn’t know Richard Osman started a new series with a new cast. Seems like he’s struck gold yet again. Good review, Darla. Also, couldn’t help but chuckle while reading about a cat named Trouble.

Osman announced after the fourth Thursday Murders book that he was going to take a break and this is what we got. I was happily surprised to enjoy this cast just as much or more than the previous series. And, yes, Trouble is a fabulous member of the supporting cast. 🐈⬛
