This was a cute, sweet little story. There's not much sweeter than a pretty mermaid looking for her merman. Unfortunately, for it I'm all about dark and dirty kinda books right now. Which is why I can only give it three stars. I did realize this was YA but it felt more like a middle grade book to me. My preteen daughter would most likely love it.

Interesting :D I had to do a double take because I saw Sins well you know the double take proved to be Fins! lol

Haha#! Nope this is an innocent kinda book...no sins happening with this one. ;)
I was a little excited when I saw it was a mermaid book, not gonna lie! But I'm a little over the younger side of YA. However, my daughter is on a real kick right now so I may ask her if she wants to BR it with me, especially if it is innocent. I don't want any awkward silences as we try to discuss because it got a little too "R" rated for a mom-daughter book.
I can't say I was disappointed really because it is written well and the story is good. I do enjoy YA also but I'm not so into the younger YA. My daughter is 11 and its perfect for her. She'd love it. I probably would still have enjoyed it into my early twenties.
