I signed onto this website because I love reading and I thought this was the perfect opportunity to keep a record of all the books I've ever read, at least so far as I can recall. This is by no means a comprehensive list, but I keep adding books when I remember them.
Then I discovered that my own book was on here and I’ve now claimed it. I grew up in a world of stories, particularly science fiction and fantasy and so world building is something I’ve always done for fun. Unlike so many others who write sci-fi and fantasy, I’m not a gamer, but I am a history buff with a fascination about all the things that make us human. So here is the first novel I’ve read set in John Varley’s Eight Worlds future history. I think it’s probably the closest in terms of continuity to the short stories since it was written back in 1977.
