Say You Swear (Boys of Avix, #1) by Meagan Brandy

I was never a fan of contemporary romance - always found it unrelatable and boring. Mostly, this book was no exception.

So tell me why I felt every romantic scene and angst scenes in my core as if it was happening to me? The heroine could not be any more different from me personally but I wanted every good thing that was happening to her.

I wanted Chase, I wanted Noah.

Never has an author made me feel so personally connected to the story as the book's first half did to me. I was giddy and happy everytime Chase got jealous and also when Noah got jealous but did not show it - every dialogue of Noah's was worth rereading.

An easy 4.5 stars… (more)

Say You Swear by Meagan Brandy

finally, a 5 star read for me!! the time it took me to read this book is in no way reflective of how much i enjoyed this. the romance, the plot twists, the characters and their found family, and noah just being the perfect love mmc!! i will say i didn’t love the way that chase took advantage of ari on several occasions and felt he didn’t really face the consequences, but willing to overlook this because the rest had my jaw on the floor.

I love anthologies. This one was really unique because of how each story started. It was interesting to see them all take a different approach to their story that fit into a plethora of romance subgenres.
