Queer storytelling,HOORAY! A must read if you're looking for an uplifting story about the ebbs and flows of life through the lens of a lesbian couple. the artwork is soft and at times almost dream like. It really makes the difficult aspects of the story feel more personal and yet also universal. There were some raw and triggering moments (the miscarriage) in the story that may be hard for some people to digest. Moments like these are handled with care and compassion and not jarring at all. It is especially poignant when there is no dialogue. I didn't really expect to feel so many complex emotions in one day. It was an experience.… (more)
