Faith Hunter

The 4th book in the Shining Smith series. She must now cope with all of the motorcycle clubs, some of whom want to claim her. After sorting out her position she next must pay attention to some of her neighbors who are in need of help.
This may be the end of the series, it is a logical place to stop and a good conclusion for the main characters.

Shining and her allies go after Warhammer who has taken refuge in a military bunker. The majority of the book is taken up the infiltrating and battling within the bunker. Lots of violent scenes in this one. The mutated rats are particularly creepy.

Responding to the threats found in the first book, Shining needs to acquire weapons. She embarks on a road trip to negotiate for weapons and find allies.
This book gives a wider view of the dystopian world and the different ways people are surviving.
Like the first book the emphasis is on action.

A post-apocalyptic story about a mutated woman living in a junkyard that hides multiple secrets. Earth is a desert and resources are scarce. She has been altered by nanobots that give her an ability to take over people's will and make them want to serve her. Also living in the junkyard is a tribe of intelligent cats. They deal with biker gangs, lack of water and an unknown enemy.
Interesting, very action-packed.
