Kristina escapes her whorehouse to answer a mail order bride advertisement in Colorado. Too bad Jeremiah doesn’t want to marry a smart mouthed former sex worker. So he foists her off on his brother! Like you do! Except Luke and Kristina have very little chemistry, emotional or physical, and don’t even spent that much time together, plot-wise. I liked the setting and the werewolf mythology, but the love story did very little for me. 3 stars.

The second book is better than the first. Lorelai is shamed by hoity-toity Boston society when her husband up and divorces her. So she decides to become a mail order bride! And Jeremiah likes this one. The two had much more physical chemistry than the couple in the first book, which helped explore and build the emotional bond between them.

Oh! The Hero is a biker and a werebear! That’s like two of my favorite things!

I have absolutely no memory of this book. But I gave it 3 stars.
