A CLASSIC- best book if you want to try it yourself ( sequel to SHELTER from 1973)
This book is so crammed! Crammed with personal stories, crammed with pictures, crammed with ideas. It's delightful that way, but also a little frustrating -- it can be hard to pick through the blast of information without skimming. Still, it's a lot of amazing hand built projects, a lot of dreams that came together beautifully.
Septic systems deserve respect. They are arguably the birthplace of civilization.
did not need to buy this book.... but maybe ... there is still time to build a dome...!
