Everyone's Dead But Us: A Tom & Scott Mystery (Tom… by Mark Richard Zubro
Book #11 in the Tom and Scott series. This has the pair on vacation at an exclusive gay resort on a small Greek island. At the start of the book they find the owner of the island dead in their room in the tower of a centuries old castle. When they go to report this, the tower is blown up and subsequently an atrium that works as the concierge desk is also destroyed. All this happens as a storm is raging that encompasses the whole island. Many of the other guests and their bodyguards are killed during the course of the book as well as the storm still raging outside. At the end of the book you do learn who the killer is, but it is a drawn out process as their is more than one person involved.… (more)
First in the Paul Turner mystery series. A gay cop and his partner are assigned a case of a preacher's daughter being shot in Chicago. Numerous twists and turns and many dead ends before the revelation of the killer in the last few pages.
After leaving a department meeting Tom is running some errands. One of which is to get some supplies from the supply closet. Buy upon entering he finds two men in an embrace and a corpse very near by.
The story while interesting could have been much shorter and still have made its point. I'm happy to be a Democrat.
