- Not surprisingly, my (permanent) collection consists mainly of books related to climbing and travel. Lots of other books cross my path, I always have a book in progress, but they don't all earn a permanent place on my shelves. My tastes are fairly broad, and I like to "experiment" with new authors, but when all else fails, an exciting narrative about near-death experiences on Himalayan climbs never fails to keep me up all night...
