Pip, along with the other birds, lives on an island. But, there is something different about them - they can’t fly. They have never even tried. Instead, they laze on the ground, eating whatever falls on it. Pip is not happy with it. She tries something that no one had thought possible. Her friends make fun of her failed attempts. Pip tried too many things and fell too many times. Will Pip finally make it up there in the sky?

We picked the book based on a recommendation. A story told in kid-friendly language with pretty appealing illustrations.
The storyline has an empowering message for young readers. Pip teaches kids not to give up and try until one succeeds.
An excellent pick for early readers with cute illustrations and a powerful message.
