Nevermind, banks just get annoying sometimes...
(Edit because I guess I was being childish.)

Welcome in the real world I guess - overdraft fees had been a mess lately.
I never touch any money from my account until I see the deposit clearing. I do no rely on "it is in and it clears immediately" - unless I see it cleared, I do not expect to be able to use the money - even if in a lot of cases you might be able to.

I understand the real world, I have dealt with money for years. I have never had this problem before and I honestly just wanted to throw a fit, perhaps it was childish of me but it just made me angry.

I know, I know :)
I am just saying that banks just seem to be uhm... enforcing some rules that make overdraft fees more likely... So I am just extra careful :)

How come when I deposit my paycheck Friday afternoon it doesn't post (not clear, just post) until Monday but when I use my debit card to buy gas on Sunday morning it's deducted from my account by the time I get home?

A check takes several days to process but money is SUPPOSE to be an instant transfer. Yes all the little loop holes is usually in the banks favor.
