109jbegab
Jul 12, 10:02 pm

#103 The Last Word by Elly Griffiths
I always enjoy her books. but this one has, on the title page "a Ruth Galloway Mystery." It is NOT. Ruth Galloway does not show up at all in this book, and in the back where Elly Griffith's books are listed, it shows this as being a stand alone, featuring Harbinder Kaur, which it is. Almost more than I can do, not to cross out that wrong statement. There is a whole series devoted to Rugh Galloway, which I did enjoy. Enjoyed this too.

110jbegab
Jul 14, 2:40 pm

This book started out recalling DB Cooper and then devolved into science fiction and from there to science fantasy. I've read other books by them that weren't quite that strange. An OK read, but not what I had expected.
