GOP senators face Trump civil war with McConnell retiring

The race to replace Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell (Ky.) is laying bare the power struggle between pro-Trump and anti-Trump Republicans in the Senate.

It's crazy to think that GOP senators only have a choice between an anti-Trump Mitch McConnell-type person and a pro-Trump person. I don't believe McConnell is morally superior to Trump. It is his fault that Trump was able to appoint 3 justices to the Supreme Court including one within a couple weeks of the election. In contrast, McConnell would not allow Obama to appoint a justice even a year before the election. Hypocritical at best. Find someone decent, maybe like Romney? However he has retired.
