Loading... In Plain Sight (short story)by Linda CastilloI just love Linda Castillo and her Amish series. This was a nice little filler book and a quick read. It definitely makes you want more and I can’t wait until her next full length book comes out. Her characters are growing nicely and her stories are not too over-the-top so they’re quite believable because someone doesn’t die in every book. And that’s a good thing because if they did, who would want to live in this little town? Noah is Amish, but is in love with a English girl. After attending a homecoming event at her school, he is elated having kissed her for the first time. But on his way walking home, a hit and run car accident leaves him in a field, unconscious. Kate must determine if it was an accident or a deliberate act. Sifting through clues and interviewing others, she is surprised at what she finds. Though this is a short tale, it still has all the elements of a Castillo novel and is thoroughly enjoyable. |
