Issues unresolved

Flickering textures

Textures on ground may flicker at distance if you're up in air as Raider or as Survivor.^[14] This may be do to view distance being low.

Distorted audio

Triggering a cutscene that can't be played due to raider having a poor connection will result in distorted audio. Audio will get back after the game tells you that connection to the raider has been lost or it will fix by itself.^[15]

Players name can't be seen in match

This issue is random and it's unknown what triggers it. While you can see all players name before the match starts, certain actions in game makes the name invisible.

1. Interacting with a super transphere.^[16]
2. If the raider downs a player, that name will be invisible even if the name can be seen in right corner feed.^[17]
3. Players can spawn with their name invisible to other players.^[18]

Anti-aliasing is not saved in settings

While anti-aliasing appears as off in settings, by reopening the game, anti-aliasing will still appear in game. The same thing happens after a match is finished, anti-aliasing will still reappear. There's no fix for this issue, it must be disabled every time when you start the game and after a match is finished.^[19]

Performance/FPS/Stuttering

Several people have encountered low performance, low fps or stuttering out of the sudden.^[20][21]

While the game doesn't recommend installing it on SSD according to System Requirements page, this may be beneficial since the game has many seasons and introduced a lot of stuff that requires fast loading time.

This is recommended to be used by people using a VPN trying to play in other regions such as NA or JP.

Try this only if you played a few matches and out of the sudden the game freezes/stutters in the current match.

This is recommended to be used by people using a controller to play the game.

The game doesn't have shader compilation, with RTSS frame spikes can be seen by standing still. This occurs regardless of which settings you have.^[29]

Reviving sound may get muted

When you revive or get revived by someone, the sound for revive may get muted until the revive is completed.^[31] A reason of this happening may be on how the game prioritizes sounds over the other.

Emotes don't work

Emotes don't work at the waiting screen for the match to start and in game. The character doesn't do any animation. This may be due to being AFK in lobby screen when players need to ready up.^[32]

Freezes

The game may freeze randomly in unexpected moments.^[33]

1. After finishing a match at a white screen.^[34]
2. At the preparing for match screen if raider is bugged or left the match and the server didn't detected it.^[35]
3. At the loading screen if you finished a match.^[36]
4. When a survivor uses a super transphere or when a raider transforms, the screen will be white and stuck, after some minutes the player(s) with the poor connection will get disconnected and the match will resume.^[37]
5. If the controller is unplugging and replugging itself, the game will freeze for a few seconds, this may occur to a Playstation controller.^[38]
6. When you invite someone in your room.^[39] Restarting the game does not fix this issue, try to invite from Friend list (Steam) instead of Friend list.^[40]
7. When you do any action in game such as rescuing civilians.^[41]
8. When you accept an invite to become friends in game.^[42]
9. When you cancel matchmaking and try to search again. Restarting the game should fix it.^[43]

Stuck in loading screen

If the connection to the host is lost while trying to load the match or the match doesn't load fast, you're going to be stuck in an infinite loading screen loop. The only solution is to restart the game.^[44]

Server issues

The game suffers server issues such as:

1. You have been disconnected from the matchmaking server.
2. Connection to the matchmaking server has been lost.
3. A system error occurred when connecting to the matchmaking server.
4. An error occurred when connecting to the game server.
5. Failed to connect. Please check your network connection.

This issue also occurs when servers are down for everyone.

Crashes

The game may crash unexpectedly in random moments.^[45]

1. When a survivor uses a super transphere the game may crash for other survivors.^[46]
2. When you play as a raider, the game may crash unexpectedly when you ki blast/fight survivors.^[47]
3. Having the game alt+tabbed may lead to a crash.^[48]
4. Loading into match may lead to a crash.^[49]

Issues fixed

Player link code doesn't work

This issue is about link code to the same platform, link code is not cross platform, players must input codes to their specific platform.^[50]
