Hey retroracers! we are proud to announce that Horizon Chase is already available for Apple TV and Android TV devices. We also inform you about the following details: -If you've already bought Horizon Chase on your Android/iOS mobile device, then the game will be available also on your Android TV/Apple TV games library. -Cloud saving for iOS devices is totally compatible with the Apple TV platform. For Android TV users who already bought the game on their mobile devices, as this version is not yet implementing cloud saving, we are unable to transfer your progress tho the new Android TV plataform account. We apologyze for that, we keep working to fix some technical issues that are delaying this feature. -We keep working on the Steam and PS4 versions, will let you know more details about them in the upcoming months. HORIZON CHASE IS CELEBRATING.

One year has passed but it still seems like yesterday, when we were refreshing the App Store page to see, for the first time, our game live. And when that happened it came with an Editors’ Choice tag, the most valuable recognition on that sale platform. We could not have started better!

The happiness and the pride remain strong. We had an outstanding year with a lot of excellent reviews, emotive players feedback and awards, as you have followed here on our Facebook page.

And this is not the end: next week we will share some great news with you.

HORIZON CHASE ESTÁ COMEMORANDO.

Um ano se passou e parece que foi ontem, quando estávamos dando refresh na página da App Store para ver pela primeira vez nosso jogo no ar. E quando isso aconteceu, veio junto um selo Editors' Choice, o mais valioso reconhecimento da loja virtual. Não podíamos ter começado melhor!

A felicidade e o orgulho seguem fortes. Nós tivemos um ano cheio de reviews excelentes, feedbacks passionais dos jogadores e muitos prêmios, como você pôde acompanhar por aqui na nossa fan page.

E não acabou: na próxima semana vamos compartilhar grandes novidades que vêm por aí.

We have a challenge for you all, here at Aquiris Game Studio:

After almost 5 months since ‪#‎HorizonChase‬ released (on iOS), it seems that 129% is the maximum percentage of completion you have been able to achieve in the game. But we are really curious to know who's the player who collected more tokens! for now the highest mark we've seen is 8792 by Túlio Marcos. We're really curious to find out if anybody has been able to beat it!

During the upcoming week (until 21st of January) we'll be waiting for the maximum score submissions of the ones who accept the challenge of, at least, beating Mário score. Those submissions will be made in the form of an image of yourself showing the screen of your cellphone (like our colleague Sandro is doing in the picture below). You can comment here with the image and send it to us via private message.

Of course, there will be a reward for the winner. We will reveal it during this week!

#HorizonChase development insights.

We wanted to share with you this picture we took the 10th of July of last year, when the development was almost finished. In those papers spread on a big table after a meeting you can find some circuit drafts and interesting notes from the team. Our game designers thought really carefully about the distribution of the props (objects placed on both sides of the different circuits) for each circuit.

If we think that more than 150.000 games were released this year, and that hundreds, maybe thousands of great developers and publishers are out there working hard to receive the same kind of recognition, it's truly amazing to be chosen as one of the Best Mobile Games of the World in 2015. 

We want to extend this award to everybody who supported us during the development, our families, friends and of course to all of you. We have been aiming to create a game like this for a very long time, so it makes us incredibly happy to see how it has been so well received by players and critics.

From all the important awards we have got, we want to remark how satisfying is for us being so highly valued by App Store Editors. Here you can find a list with all the awards Horizon Chase got in the different App Stores worldwide:

2015: Our first Playstation Experience.

Our dear colleagues had an awesome weekend showcasing‪ #‎HorizonChase‬'s ‪#‎Playstation4‬ prototype at ‪#‎PlaystationExperience2015‬. Know them a bit better:

-Sandro Manfredini. Business Director. He has been responsible for the relationship with all the distribution platforms since the very beginning of the project. The game was Apple Editors’ Choice in US and dozens of other countries. Horizon Chase was also selected by Apple to be installed on its devices at Apple Stores around the globe.

-Amilton Diesel. Co-founder, Horizon Chase Producer & Tech. Art Director. The magician behind the gorgeous graphics and great visual performance of the game (interview: http://pastebin.com/BSZsbbag).

-Barry Leitch. Composer. Barry is responsible of the upbeat/techno feel to the game, which definitely helps bring you back to days of sitting in your local arcade wasting quarter after quarter to get the high score. He is a living legend to us, well known for having created the soundtracks for classics as Lotus Turbo Challenge, Rush and Top Gear videogame series. Being absolute fans of Top Gear for the SNES, it is a real gift for us to have the original composer on board.

So proud to announce that our first ‪#‎HorizonChase‬ ‪#‎PS4‬ prototype will be playable at ‪#‎PlaystationExperience2015‬.

Find us at PSX 2015: Booth 2226. Amilton Diesel - Technical Art Director, Barry Leitch - Composer, and Sandro Manfredini - Business Director, will be there demonstrating the game and open to talk more about the project. For the first time, we’ll be demonstrating the new content (new cup and its circuits) we have been developing since the mobile version release.

#‎HorizonChase‬ update 1.3.1 was made available this week on the Google Play Store:

Last Monday was a really special day for all of us at Aquiris Game Studio and in particular for Barry Leitch and the rest of the Horizon Chase team.

We knew about Barry's love story with Karen (his first girlfriend from adolescence) since the very beginning of the project. After getting it as a suggestion from Barry, we thought it would be so cool to add an Easter Egg to the game, a love letter that could serve Barry propose to Karen (http://bit.ly/lovelHC)

So we prepared everything, installed a set up for a fake interview that will be part of a documentary/report about the wives of Horizon Chase developers, check it out in the video:

Today we are doing the final tests on our first demo that will be showcased for the first time in exactly 48h at Brasil Game Show (São Paulo).
