Motivation
[edit]A major revision has been done for these important codes for research classification in Australia and New Zealand. The old property ANZSRC 2008 FoR ID (P5922) is still worth keeping. We need a new property ASAP to ensure the two don't get mingled. I'm not aware of a new formatter URL yet, but will add one when I become aware of it. 99of9 (talk) 01:41, 2 July 2020 (UTC)

- Comment I presume there is a correspondence table to the 2008 codes – is the plan to use that or would it be better to go mostly through the Mix'n'Match process again? --Canley (talk) 05:50, 2 July 2020 (UTC)
- Yes there is. The 2008 one was only 12% matched, so it's not a huge advantage, but we could use it. --99of9 (talk) 06:02, 2 July 2020 (UTC)
- Comment @99of9: I updated the subject item to Australian and New Zealand Standard Research Classification: Fields of Research 2020 identifier (Q96781683) which is instance of (P31) unique identifier (Q6545185) and remodelled the ANZSRC-FOR items for 2008 too separating the generic ANZSRC-FOR from the 2008 and 2020 editions, and the unique identifiers used in each edition. Can you check I've done this correctly? --Dhx1 (talk) 06:45, 2 July 2020 (UTC)
- @Dhx1: looks fabulous. Thanks. --99of9 (talk) 06:52, 2 July 2020 (UTC)
