Hitomi Amagi (天城ヒトミ?) is an original character from Evangelion Battlefields, introduced in the game's first season. She is both an operator and counselor and serves as a tutorial character in the game's opening segment.

Profile[]

In Hitomi's role at NERV primarily involves her supervising the Battlefields System, a virtual reality fighting arena that the pilots use for training in the universe of Evangelion Battlefields. She has also taken up the role of counselor in order to aid the pilots and other staff with their mental health.

The crescent-shaped hairclip she always wears was inherited from her late mother, who was an astronomer. Her mother fell into a depression following the death of her husband, Hitomi's father, in the Second Impact. It's unclear what caused her death, though Hitomi states it was a result of her being unable to fill the hole her father's passing had left in her mother's heart, and that she became a counselor for NERV because she wanted to help people like her mother. Her father was also a researcher in an unspecified field.
