Nene Matsukaze

Nene Matsukaze (松風ネネ(まつかぜ ねね), Matsukaze Nene^?) is an original character from Neon Genesis Evangelion SIDE STORY 2 ~ Feast of Dolls ~ visual novel game. She is a transfer student that moved in 2-A class. She always carries a teddy bear, which she believes the spirit "Sandy-san" lives inside it.

• Her character design is based on a contest winner sent idea.
  • The contest had the deadline of 20 January 2006.
  • The initial idea was that the new character would be a classmate of Rei, Asuka, and Shinji.
• The contest winner would also choose their name, characteristics, personality, way of speaking.^[1]
• Her blood type is O.
• Her surname, Matsukaze^WP, comes from the Japanese destroyer Matsukaze of the Japanese Imperial Navy.
