The Transformation Belt Typhoon Prana Forced Ejection Assistance Mechanism Equipped Early Type (変身ベルトタイフーン プラーナ強制排出補助機構付初期型, Henshin Beruto Taifūn Purāna Kyōsei Haishutsu Hojokikō-tsuki Shoki-Gata) is the transformation belt of the Kamen Rider.

Overview[]

Developed by Professor Hiroshi Midorikawa, the belt is an important piece of equipment that forms the basis of the Prana Absorption-Amplification System present in Batta Augment-01's body. It works in conjunction with the Converter Lung on the chest and other devices throughout the body, and uses wind to condense and convert Prana taken into the body into bioenergy for transformation and combat. It incorporates an ejection mechanism that expels excess Prana from the Energy Converter, allowing Hongo to revert back to his human form after a fight.[1]

Design[]

  • This Typhoon has a similar design from the one in the original series, and shares the same functionalities. In addition to converting Prana into energy to transform Hongo, belt features Energy Converter switches on the sides of the belt strap that have guards on the side to prevent the buttons from being pressed on accident. The right hand-side switch activates the Typhoon's Prana Ejection, causing the turbine device to slide outwards and spin counterclockwise, ejecting the excess Prana from Hongo's body. The buckle also possesses six nozzles where the excess prana is discharged from in addition to the vents on the Converter Lung Armor, before the lower half of the Mask's Crusher splits down the middle and retracts into the mask. The left-hand switch also features a dial which can call over the Cyclone remotely for a last-ditch effort self-destruct function.

Notes[]

  • This version of the Typhoon was designed with 6 nozzles in the concept art to mirror the amount of mufflers that the Cyclone has.
