You ain't from around these parts, are ya? 'Cause if you were, you'd know, on that spit o' land, there be dragons!

Biography[]

Early life[]

The old civet lived on Dragon Island.[1]

Encounter with the Lion Guard[]

You won't ride these dragons. They'll wipe you with their tails. And if they bite you, well... That's the end of that.

The old civet warns the Lion Guard about the dangers of Dragon Island.

As the Lion Guard started to cross a land bridge to Dragon Island, they were stopped by the old civet. He warned them about the dragons that inhabited the island, but the Lion Guard brushed off his warnings and continued on their way.

Later, after the Lion Guard returned from taking care of the dragons, they informed the old civet that they had dealt with the dragons, much to the old civet's shock.[1]

Physical appearance[]

The old civet is a moderately sized civet. He has gray fur, with a cream underbelly, a white muzzle, black legs, and dark brown spots on his back and sides. He also has cream eye rims, bushy gray eyebrows, and a black-tipped tail. His eyes are large, round, and black with yellow sclerae.[1]

Personality and traits[]

Ah, well? I was right, weren't I?
―The old civet on the existence of Komodo dragons[src]

The old civet is fearful of Komodo dragons. He is kind and welcoming to strangers, as he warned the Lion Guard about the dangers of Dragon Island when they visited for the first time.[1]
