Synopsis for "Everyone Is a Target: Part 9"
In the Arctic Ocean, a dying fish sinks to the seafloor, its blood tinting the water red. Several rats scuttle past, their eyes black with red spirals. The rats are followed by a horde comprised of other animals - many from Roscoe's Zoo in Doverton, Colorado - and several homeless people; all infected by the Grendel symbiote offshoot and controlled by Carnage. As the horde breaches the surface of the water and advances towards Avengers Mountain, one of the symbiote-possessed homeless people grins menacingly and says Steve Rogers' name.
