The USS Musashi (NCC-71809) was a Federation Galaxy-class starship in service in the early 25th century. She was under the command of Captain Kel Nola. (ST video game: Star Trek Online)

Service history and disposition[]

In 2409 a Klingon Defense Force bird-of-prey was taking custody of a Federation prisoner, Franklin Drake of Section 31, from the IKS Seg'pa when the Musashi dropped out of warp nearby and demanded the prisoner be handed over. The Klingons refused and the Musashi attacked and beamed several away teams aboard the bird-of-prey to retrieve Drake.

The crew, led by the second officer, fought back, and the second officer discovered that the bird-of-prey's Captain Jurlek, had revealed the location of the rendezvous to the Musashi. Due to this act of treason and cowardice, the ship's first officer, Doran, attempted to challenge Jurlek for command, but Jurlek stabbed her in the back fatally before she could make the challenge. The second officer, now advanced to first officer, took up where Doran had left off, slew Jurlek, and took command of the ship. (STO missions: "End of Watch", "Intruder Alert")

The former second officer now coordinated with the Seg'pa and attacked the Musashi, destroying her after a lengthy firefight. (STO mission: "Your New Command")
