Send baddies skyward, then kick off a combo. This move makes a perfect opener.

— Description, Sonic Unleashed[1]

The Were-Wallop is one of the Skills used by Sonic the Werehog in the Wii/PlayStation 2 version of Sonic Unleashed. It is unlocked after the player has collected 7,500 Dark Gaia Force Orbs on the Orb Result screen. The player can use this move after making two or three hits in an attack combo.

Description[]

When using this move, Sonic the Werehog stretches his arms upward as he performs a double uppercut to his opponents, slashing upwards with his claws. While doing so, his hands glow red and leave a trail. This move knocks enemies into the air and can help the player out in certain situations, such as if there are too many enemies to face.

To perform the Were-Wallop in gameplay, the player first has to have successfully launched two or three combo hits. On the Nintendo Wii version of the game, the player then has to swing the Wii Remote and the Nunchuck simultaneously to execute the Were-Wallop. Parallel on the PlayStation 2 version of the game, the player then has to press PSTriangleButton to execute the Were-Wallop.

Trivia[]

  • The Were-Wallop cannot be used while in Unleashed Mode, as using the same controls for the Were-Wallop while in Unleashed Mode will instead trigger the Were-Rush.
