Summary
Sonic the Hedgehog is a video game franchise created and owned by Sega's Sonic Team division that began its legacy in 1991, during the 16-bit era of the gaming industry. The franchise centres on a series of speed-based platform games, with several spin-offs in different genres. The protagonist of the series is an anthropomorphic blue hedgehog named Sonic the Hedgehog, a carefree adventurer who doesn't tolerate injustice and always helps those in need. His peaceful life is often interrupted by the series' main antagonist, Doctor Ivo "Eggman" Robotnik. However, there are far more threats in the world than simply one mad scientist. One thing is for certain; no matter the circumstance, Sonic, and his friends, will give it their all to protect their home.
What was once simply a video game series has since become a journey spanning across media; the tale of Sonic and his adventures not only inhabit a myriad of consoles, but persist through the IDW Publishing's Sonic the Hedgehog comics and Man of Action Entertainment's Sonic Prime show. In fact, the universe's rich history is very expandable to the point of having a rather spontaneous continuity. For this reason, we have divided the Sonic Universe into multiple “eras” for a more concise look into the timeline.

The power of Sonic's verse ranges wildly; Badniks and other fodder are Wall level. Even unaided by his wide assortment of technology, Dr. Eggman displays an attack potency of at least Building level during the Modern Era. The Classic Era is 5-A (162.777316 Yottatons) scaling to the Death Egg Robot, who upscales from the Death Egg, a doomsday machine that can destroy the planet. The Adventure Era starts with a ratting of High 4-C (5.79748953975 Foe), with it shortly after growing to varying levels of 4-B (46.379916318 Foe to 5.9366292887 KiloFoe), and eventually peaking at 4-A (465 ExaFoe) from Emerl capturing a power at that level. The Modern Era has the cast growing even stronger throughout, Low 2-C from being able to contend with many foes that have such feats, including many mechs from Dr. Eggman that are stated to be his strongest following the creation of the Super Egg Robot, and increasing even further due to Sonic's growth in strength from Elder Koco in Sonic Frontiers. Several Universe level+, Low Multiverse level, Low Complex Multiverse level and Complex Multiverse level threats appear in the forms of the Phantom Ruby, Paradox Prism, Time Eater, Egg Salamander, the Egg Wizard with the Power of the Stars, Solaris, The End, and Super Forms at their strongest. There is also a lot to tell about speed; even the slowest anthropomorphic characters are FTL, with many prominent characters being Massively FTL+ or even Infinite. Only the strongest characters reach Immeasurable speed, such as Super Forms and the Titans.
Hax-wise: This verse also has many hax powers within it, such as Sonic and Shadow using Chaos Control to freeze time or teleport, every skilled Chaos Emerald user like Blaze being able to seal away opponents like Iblis, Emerl and Metal Sonic being able to copy an opponent's abilities by mere observation, Time Eater being able to freely slow down or travel through time, and Alf Layla wa-Layla and Darkspine Sonic being capable of warping reality with a wave of the hand. Color Powers (which most characters can use) can grant several abilities, such as Intangibility, Void Manipulation, and Absorption.
