Written in staccato style often, this autobio was fun to read--in a way, it was like reading the lyrics of one long song. He was unflinchingly honest in his assessments of his own successes and failures--and this was like a breath of fresh air coming from a wealthy musician. More than anything, I was just left with the impression that Bruce is an artist, a craftsman. Sure, he's rock'n'roll, but he works hard at what he does, and he does so while guided by a sense of commitment to his fans and his country.
