Defintely has some disturbing triggers, but a good start to the series. Good background. Not always enough description.
The whole thing about her mother dying almost ruined the whole thing for me. Esp after the prequel. So not my thing.
Interesting turn on alien abduction. I really liked how it worked out. I think that Anya really came into her own once she met Zar. I think that Anya was good for Zar and he was good for her too. I'm looking forward to the next one.
