Beatrix Vespasian-Orus is the younger twin daughter of Emperor Levo of Imperium. Her older (by minutes) sister Zeatrix inherited their father’s elemental power and was first in line for the throne. These factors, combined with their father’s favoritism, caused Beatrix to resent both her sister and father. As such, when Lord Ras of the Wyldness came to Imperium to propose the capture of one of the Source Dragons, she was intrigued.
After her father dismissed the visitor, Beatrix followed Ras and suggested that they could carry out his plan together. To that end, they arranged for Levo’s death and Zeatrix’s capture. Beatrix thus became empress, and arranged for the capture of the Source Dragon Ras had encountered. She also established the Claws of Imperium to capture dragons, stealing the power they had once given freely in order to fuel her empire.
Beatrix tasked Rapton, Dorama, and Dr. LaRow with the mission of locating the three Dragon Cores, essential components needed for a powerful weapon designed to eliminate the ninja through the use of MergeQuakes. However, after obtaining two of the cores, Beatrix made a shocking discovery - Rapton had replaced his core with a counterfeit one. Realizing the significance of the Dragon Cores, which were originally crafted by the Source Dragons and one already been impriosned by Imperium, Beatrix instructed Jordana to create a fourth core as a replacement. As Beatrix engaged in a fierce battle against both the ninja and the Imperium Teen Resistance Force to safeguard the cores, she initially seemed to possess the upper hand.
However, her cruel demeanor and lack of concern for dragons and her own people were exposed by Sora, leading to unrest and ultimately sparking a riot. Amidst the chaos, Jordana managed to successfully create the fourth Dragon Core. Beatrix utilized the functioning MergeQuake weapon to generate MergeQuakes, aiming to eliminate the ninja and the Imperians, under the assumption that it would annihilate them. Nevertheless, Sora tapped into her True Potential to neutralize the MergeQuake weapon, while Arin compelled Beatrix towards a MergeQuake.
Following Lloyd's intervention, the MergeQuake Storm was halted, and everyone caught in its turmoil emerged unharmed. However, Beatrix vanished, leaving her whereabouts unknown. She was not forgotten, however, as Lloyd would see her in his visions foretelling future dangers.
