Baby Blooper, alternatively named Blooper Baby, is the baby variation of a Blooper. They first appear in Super Mario Bros. 3.

Physical description[]

Baby Bloopers resemble regular Bloopers, but their tentacles are short and do not spread out.

Behavior[]

A few Baby Bloopers are always seen with either a Blooper Nanny or a larger Blooper, and follow either type of Blooper as they move around.

In Super Mario series[]

Super Mario Bros. 3[]

Baby Bloopers are among the enemies encountered in underwater levels. They are led by their mother, Blooper Nanny, and Baby Bloopers are always seen following her. Baby Bloopers, let alone Bloopers in general, first appear in the level World 3-1.

New Super Mario Bros.[]

Baby Bloopers are once again assisted by Blooper Nannies and act identically as in Super Mario Bros. 3. Baby Bloopers are only ever found in a hidden room of World 3-3.

New Super Mario Bros. Wii[]

Baby Bloopers return as enemies, and behave the same way as in New Super Mario Bros.. Baby Bloopers only appear in World 4-4.

New Super Mario Bros. U / New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe[]

Both Baby Bloopers and Blooper Nannies make an appearance, although they only appear in the secret level Blooper's Secret Lair. Baby Bloopers and Blooper Nannies retain the same behavior as before.

Super Mario Maker / Super Mario Maker for Nintendo 3DS / Super Mario Maker 2[]

Baby Bloopers and Blooper Nannies both appear as enemies in all three games.

In Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars[]

Baby Bloopers make a minor appearance along with their Blooper Nannies. They are not enemies, but contact with one initiates a battle with a normal Blooper.

In Paper Mario[]

Baby Bloopers appear as an enemy, and they can be found in Toad Town Tunnels. They are weak enemies found alongside the Super Blooper, which take the usual role of Blooper Nannies. Baby Bloopers only attack by sucking out health from Mario requiring the player to repeatedly hit the A Button button in order to get them off.

Baby Bloopers make a few minor appearances.

In "Oh, Brother!," a Baby Bloopers are seen with a Blooper Nanny in Pipe Land.

In "Recycled Koopa," a Koopa Zombie releases Baby Bloopers from a ketchup bottle after squeezing it.
