Moltz the Very Goonie is a giant Bowling Goonie who appears in Yoshi's Island DS. He is the mid-boss of World 5, and is fought by Yellow Yoshi within his own fortress, The Fort of Moltz the Very Goonie.

In the area where Moltz the Very Goonie is fought, he is not shown at first until Kamek flies back and forth using his magic, shown on the Nintendo DS's upper screen, upon which Moltz the Very Goonie slowly makes his way downward for a few seconds. The cloud platform that Yellow Yoshi is standing on disappears, and the boss fight begins.
During the battle utilizes a few different attacks, which includes launching three sharp feathers upward at Yellow Yoshi, trying to lunge downward onto him, and sending forth a few waves of three Rocket Guys at him. The latter attack is used by Moltz after he is hit. To attack Moltz, Yellow Yoshi has to Ground Pound on his head, and after doing this three times, Moltz is defeated.
