The Card Spin^[1] (カード回転アタック^[2], Kādo Kaiten Atakku^?, lit. "Card Spin Attack") is a move that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. It is an attack used by Amy Rose that involves her using her Fortune Cards.

Description[]

When using Card Spin, Amy will spread her Fortune Cards around while she spins in place in a circle. However, the player can't perform the attack forever, as doing it for too long will stop the attack and cause Amy to be dizzy for a bit, leaving her wide open for any possible attacks.

Overview[]

In Sonic Frontiers, the Card Spin is one of Amy's Skills in The Final Horizon. After the player has attacked for a second time via Card Attack, the player must press for a third time and hold // to perform the attack. The player is able to move around by moving around. Additionally, the player is also able to jump while performing the move. The player can stop the attack manually at anytime, but the attack will also automatically stop by itself if used for too long. The player would need to have 10 Skill Points in stock, as Amy herself, in order to be able to unlock it.

Variants[]

Infinite Card Spin[]

If the player has unlocked and reached the maximum amount of Rings in their Ring count to use the Infinite Card Spin^[3] (無限カード回転アタック^[4], Mugen Kādo Kaiten Atakku^?, lit. "Infinite Card Spin Attack"), the player can use the attack infinitely without risking Amy to become dizzy from usage of the attack. In addition of this Skill being unlocked, when using it, the speed of the attack increases. The player would need to have 30 Skill Points in stock, as Amy herself, in order to be able to unlock it.
