When you hover over the icon of a larger location (e.g. a village, camp or outpost), a fast travel indicator may appear. This only applies to allied or neutral locations. You can't use fast travel to reach enemy locations - you have to recapture them first in order to bring them under guerrilla control.

Fast travel is free in the game - you can use it as many times as you want.
