"Day of the Orphan" is the second live-action segment featured in The Super Mario Bros. Super Show!. It is paired with the animated episode "King Mario of Cramalot ".
Synopsis[]
A girl named Patty (played by Danica McKellar) shows up at the basement, claiming to be an orphan. Mario and Luigi feel sorry for Patty, so they invite her in for a stay but end up spoiling her. Eventually, Patty's parents show up, forcing Patty to confess that she isn't an orphan. They ground Patty "'til the end of the century", but Luigi insists that they all party first, if only because they were about to throw one for Patty.
