Table of Contents

  3. Platform: PC

Asobo is an extraordinary studio - you won't find another team that in ten years would go from creating simple Kinect mini-games and digital adaptations of Monopoly , through developing one of the best medium-budget productions of the past generation (A Plague Tale: Innocence of course ), to finally releasing a technological miracle.

Because it is the aspect of technological magic that makes the biggest impression in Microsoft Flight Simulator . The use of modern satellite maps allowed the creators to fit the whole globe in their game. No baloney, no scaling, no blocked areas - we can fly anywhere, see every city, every mountain, lake, desert, ocean, and you're limited only by our own imagination. Well, and the amount of fuel - but the latter will be replenished at one of the thirty-seven thousand (!) airports available in the game. Mindblowing.

All this while taking care of the realism of the game - whether in the form of a reliable recreation of the machines available in the game and their behavior, or a mapping of the variability of air masses and weather conditions. A paradise for aviation enthusiasts - as well as amateurs, who can have fun thanks to extensive tutorials or a wide range of assistants.

He first worked as a co-worker at GRYOnline.pl. In 2023 he became the head of the Paid Products department. He has been creating articles about games for over twenty years. He started with amateur websites, which he coded himself in HTML, then he moved on to increasingly larger portals. A computer engineer, but he was always more drawn to writing than programming, and he decided to tie his future with the former. In games, he primarily looks for stories, emotions, and immersion that no other medium can provide - hence, among his favorite titles, are games focusing on narration. Believes that NieR: Automata is the best game ever made.
