Rockstar Games, Naughty Dog, Supergiant Games - these three studios have a thing in common - for years their logo on the cover of a game is a guarantee of the highest possible quality. You think I exaggerate by putting the creators of Grand Theft Auto and The Last of Us in one line with a small studio ? Then check the reviews of Bastion, Transistor, Pyre and Hades. The scale of Supergiant Games projects may be much smaller, but when it comes to their quality, the team has absolutely nothing to be ashamed of when confronted with the biggest electronic entertainment giants.

In contrast to the larger studios, the "Supergiants" do not close themselves in one scheme and each of their subsequent projects is something completely different. Just as Pyre was a remarkable hybrid of different genres, among which action RPG dominated, Hades put on a roguelike RPG formula - and polished it to perfection.

As the son of the titular Hades, players try to get out of mythical hell, breaking through successive hordes of enemies and randomly generated levels. Dying time and again, starting over and over again with slightly better skills and a somewhat better chance of success, or at least of discovering another crumb of the addictive story. That is, roughly according to standards of the genre - only in this case, it is accompanied by atmospheric visuals, enriched with a great combat system, all of which is polished as practically nowhere else.

He first worked as a co-worker at GRYOnline.pl. In 2023 he became the head of the Paid Products department. He has been creating articles about games for over twenty years. He started with amateur websites, which he coded himself in HTML, then he moved on to increasingly larger portals. A computer engineer, but he was always more drawn to writing than programming, and he decided to tie his future with the former. In games, he primarily looks for stories, emotions, and immersion that no other medium can provide - hence, among his favorite titles, are games focusing on narration. Believes that NieR: Automata is the best game ever made.
