• One of the army men resembles a younger Mr. Plotz. Given how Mr. Plotz' character model was initially used for miscellaneous characters on Tiny Toon Adventures and some earlier episodes of Animaniacs, this is most likely not supposed to represent the CEO himself.

• The song "Dance of the Hours" can be heard playing in a few scenes as a nod to Allan Sherman's camp-oriented parody of the song "Hello Muddah, Hello Fadduh (A Letter from Camp)."

Trivia

• The Colonel is named Colonel Sanders, after the founder of Kentucky Fried Chicken.
• This is the only Chicken Boo cartoon from season 1 to not be animated by Akom.
• The title is a reference to Confederate General P.G.T Beauregard.
• Despite one of the soldiers saying General Beauregard "beat Sherman in Atlanta", the real life Beauregard failed to drive Sherman out of Atlanta, nor did he even delay his advance to Atlanta. By the end of the war, General Joseph E. Johnston surrendered his remaining armies, Beauregard included, to Sherman.
  • The same thing can be said about him "Whooping Grant at Shiloh". The Battle of Shiloh was a loss for Beauregard. "Grant"-ed however, Grant did suffer more losses than Beauregard during the battle.
