Dot And Yakko Bickering1

Dot and Yakko bickering

  • This cartoon was originally released as a theatrical short film released in front of the films Thumbelina and Major League II.
  • This cartoon was the first Animaniacs-related production to debut in theaters. Yakko, Wakko and Dot would make another theatrical appearance 27 years later through cameos in 2021's Space Jam: A New Legacy. They appear in the audience of the basketball game with numerous other Warner Bros. characters, and a statue of Dot can be seen in a WB meeting room.
  • This is the first cartoon shown in letterbox format. Select PAL prints of the episode, however, crop it to 4:3.
  • The tapes for the ending dialogue went on longer. There was talk that Rob Paulsen and Tress MacNeille had way too much fun recording it and started uncharacteristically cussing as their characters.
  • In Wakko's first complaint, he notes that he can't find his clothes, his socks are full of holes, and his shoelace has a knot; ironically, he is wearing his everyday shirt and cap (his only casual clothes), and he doesn't wear shoes or socks.
  • The theatrical film print would not surface in full until a YouTube upload by FT Depot on September 27, 2023. Unfortunately, Warner Bros. took down the upload the following day, but it has since been uploaded to the Internet Archive shortly after.
