Divinity Original Sin 2 features hundreds of various recipes that allow you to create useful items, however, there are some of them that are useful (and can be prepared by a player) from the beginning of the game. Medium Healing Potion

Minor Healing Potion + Minor Healing Potion = Medium Healing Potion (+140 Vitality)

You can combine two most basic healing potions and get one that is much better when it comes to healing.

You can switch a "Minor Healing Potion" with "Medium Healing Potion" and get "Healing Potion" that restores 330 Vitality or you can use 2x "Healing Potion" and create "Huge Healing Potion" that restores 870 Vitality.

Intestines item can be often found in corpses of defeated enemies, you can also buy it from traders. Because of that, the grenade is easy to craft.

A very simple recipe for a Lockpick. Remember, that Hammer doesn't disappear after the process of crafting - this means that one unit of this item allows you to create an infinite amount of Lockpicks (as long as you have Nails).

Zaikk's Talon can sometimes be found in enemy corpses, you can also buy it in a shop with crafting materials. The quality of the potion with poison depends on quality of a Healing Potion used in the process.

Poison Damage

Allows you to poison a weapon which gives it a few additional poison damage. You should remember that this effect doesn't overwrite other effects - this means that a weapon can deal both fire and poison damage at the same time.

Ooze Barrel can be used unlimited amount of time - you should place a barrel to one of backpacks of your companions so you can use whenever you want.

Poison damage go up with the character's level, starting from the moment of inflicting that effect on a weapon.

Holy Hand Grenade

A unique grenade that restores health (healing effect). What is more, this is an extremally strong weapon against Undead in characters with Decaying status because this grenade can deal a lot of damage to them.

Sovereign's Orb can be sometimes found in bodies of defeated enemies, you can also buy it from traders that sell crafting materials - the same goes for Pixie Dust. Starfish can be found on beaches and can be bought from traders.

Poison Bottle

Slowdown Arrowhead or Poisoned Arrowhead

Oil Barrel + Arrowhead = Slowdown Arrowhead

Ooze Barrel + Arrowhead = Poisoned Arrowhead

Allows you to create a special Slowdown Arrowhead that can be used for creating a Slowdown Arrow. The second recipe allows you to create a Poisoned Arrowhead that can be used for creating Poisoned Arrow.

You simply have to combine Slowdown / Poisoned Arrowhead with Arrow Shaft and create an arrow that you want.

Both Oil Barrel and Ooze Barrel can be used unlimited amount of time.
