How to eliminate droids and elite enemies from Star Wars Outlaws? This is a problem you may face when sneaking around and trying to take down enemies without raising attention. On this page of the guide we have described how to obtain the Electro-Shock Prod tool - it will enable you to stun stronger opponents.

Elite enemies and sneak attacks

  1. As a reminder, in Star Wars Outlaws you can stun enemies with stealth attacks after Kay sneaks up behind them. A white attack button icon will then appear.
  2. Over time, you may notice that the game will no longer enable you to silently stun some enemies. This includes droids and larger members of the Hutt Cartel faction. The stun icon may then be red and the sneak attack will not end in a successful takedown.

How do I unlock the Electro-Shock Prod?

  1. You must reach the planet Akiva and take on its main task called The Droidsmith. Eventually, you will set out to find the mechanic Temmin as part of The Scavenger quest - these steps are described in more detail on, e.g. the guide page titled How to travel on water? (the rescued Temmin will upgrade the main character's speeder).
  2. Temmin will eventually become the new expert and you can unlock skills related to them. One of them is the Electro-Shock Prod.

  1. You need to obtain 3 components. Ion Cell (x5) and Chalcopyrite (x15) are common crafting materials - you can easily obtain them by collecting loot and visiting selected traders.
  2. NL-02 Charge Emitter is a unique item, but the game will tell you its approximate location - you need to reach the Excavation Site 12. This is an island on the Great Basin lake on Akiva and you will get there by using the speeder bike upgraded by Temmin.

  1. Find a place to stop on the shore, get off the speeder, and begin infiltrating the excavation site.
  2. The entire island is Imperial turf. You should strive to act in the shadows - If an alarm is raised, intense fighting may begin and Kay may be placed on wanted status.

  1. The NL-02 charge emitter is in the tent shown in the above images. Open the large container in the tent to get the item you are looking for. You don't have to go down to underground excavations.

  1. Once you have collected all the materials, open the Experts menu and purchase the Electroshock Prod skill.
  2. From now on it is possible to take down droids and elite enemies. Performing a surprise attack (getting behind an enemy) should cause Kay to use the tool to electrocute them and he/it will be automatically eliminated from further gameplay.
