Fast travel points

1. Fast travel is not available in the long prologue set on planet Cantonica. You have to travel everywhere on your own, but fortunately, there are no large locations yet.
2. You will start discovering fast travel points once you reach Toshara - the first large location in the game. The game will display a message on the screen (example in the image) every time you approach a new point and automatically discover it. From that point on, it will be visible on the world map and you can immediately select it to fast travel. Fast travel is free of charge.

1. Landing spots can also be used as fast travel points, but you must first discover them. You may also need to meet additional requirements to unlock a landing site on territory belonging to a faction (example in the image).

Fast travel locked

The game will not always allow you to use fast travel - discovered fast travel points may be temporarily blocked and the main reasons for this are:

1. You are doing a mission - This mainly applies to main story missions, which also temporarily blocks free exploration. You must complete or cancel the quest (in the pause menu).
2. You are in the territory of a faction or the Empire - You must first leave it and get back to neutral territory.
3. You are in combat - Defeat all enemies or lose pursuit.

Speeder as a fast travel point

1. A useful tip is that your speeder can serve as a mobile fast travel point. Unlike fixed points, it is not in a location determined by the devs, but rather where you last left the vehicle.
2. It is a good idea to leave the speeder at the entrance to a city or in the wasteland where there are no other fast travel points nearby. This will make it easier for you to cover greater distances quickly.

Fast travel to other planets

1. You can also move quickly between the planets using fast travel. To do this, you need to open the map and hold down the left analog stick in the direction in which it zooms out. Eventually the galaxy map will load (example in the picture) and you can select and open one of the planets from it (Triangle/Y on the controller). Start zooming in to load a map of the planet's surface or a map of the city of your choice.
2. Fast travel only works for planets you've already visited at least once. You must reach new planets in the spaceship by activating its hyperdrive when you are in orbit.
