After their stained glass window of Weed Memlo, their first director, is destroyed by an operatic prima donna's high notes, the Warners get revenge on her during her performance of Carmen.

• This cartoon is an updated version of the classic cartoon Long-Haired Hare, in which Bugs Bunny takes revenge on another snooty opera singer.
• To quote Bugs Bunny with a twist, Yakko says, "This means Warners." instead of "This means war."

Goofs

• Guenther is heard playing a high C on the piano, but the key he is seen hitting is on the left side, which should be one of the lower notes.

Plot

In the midst of the Nazi invasion of Poland, the Leader of the Polish Underground is avoiding the Germans. While hiding in an alley, the man’s daughter, Katrina, waves to Rita and Runt, who have wound up in the city after a wrong turn heading for Burbank.

Katina’s father, knowing the Germans want him rather than Katrina, leaves her, telling her to reach the railway station before the train leaves at 5PM. Katrina barely makes a distance before she accidentally alerts the German leader’s dog, named Schnappsie. Rita comes out of hiding and assaults the dog. The leader of the Germans (only seen by the legs) is certain Katrina will lead them to the father.

Katrina is fond of Rita and Runt and adopts them. Rita and Runt are worried her father isn’t waiting for her at the train station.

At the train station, Katrina misses the train looking for her father. Her father calls her from the train and a chase occurs. During the chase, the Germans arrive. Katrina and Rita make it on broad, but Runt misses it due to stopping Schnappsie. The German leader orders Runt’s execution and Rita gets off the train to fight Schnappsie again. The fight ends with Schnappsie running away and Rita and Runt fleeing Poland on foot.

• The cartoon's setting references the Jewish Holocaust that occurred in the Great Depression through World War II.
• Newt, from the Minerva Mink segment, appears as the non-speaking dachsund.
• Katrina is voiced by a very young Elisabeth Moss, now best known for her work on TV's Mad Men.
• The Warners cameo doing their train imitation from "The Big Candy Store" at the train station.
• Runt counts "147 rocks, yeah, definitely 147 rocks", a reference to Rain Man's mathematical savant abilities.

Goofs

• The lip sync of Rita's final reprise is very off, a possible indication that the lyrics may have been rewritten after the animation was finished and dubbed in later.
