One of the tasks in Disco Elysium connected to the second crime scene (boardwalk) is Find working class husband. Our guide describes how to start this side quest and where to look for the missing husband on behalf of a working class woman.
Unlocking the task
This quest can be activated on day 2 at the earliest. Reach the entrance to the bookstore, which is west from Whirling-in-Rags. A working class woman is standing here (screenshot above) and from the conversation, you will learn that she is looking for a missing husband. You can agree to help or not.
Optionally, after the conversation, you can go a bit to the south and examine the orb that will appear next to the drunk man (passive Authority skill check). When you return to a woman, you will only make her angry, because this isn't a sought-after husband.
Locating the Missing Husband
You can continue with the quest only after proceeding to day 3 i.e. when you receive access to the western part of the map.
Go north of Fishing Village and behind the building with the large mural. There is a boardwalk here, and at its end, you'll encounter a corpse which we additionally mark in the screenshot.
Examining the corpse leads to finding a library card thanks to which you'll determine that the man fits the description received from the woman - this is the missing husband.
With this, the task will be completed and you'll receive 35XP. You can now immediately return to working class woman and deliver the bad news, or continue investigating this new crime scene - this is the first step in the Dead body on the boardwalk side quest.
