Help ravers open a nightclub is a church-related task from Disco Elysium. From our walkthrough you will learn how to open the church, where to find the spooker, and how to convince or evict Soona from the church.

Once you've found the church and the ravers tent in Disco Elysium, you can complete the Help Ravers start a nightclub task. This walkthrough explains how to get the key to the church, how to search the church and talk to a Spooker, how to get the computer password and how to handle the Soona case - this is an important choice between throwing her out or convincing her to change her mind.

Unlocking the task

This is a larger side task related to the ravers quest line — their objective will be to gain access to the church and start a nightclub there. You must unlock access to the west coast, which will be possible on day 3 at the earliest.

Head north of the fishing village and then head east of the church. Find the ravers tent shown in the screenshot - click on it and after a short introduction, you will be let inside.

There are several ravers in the tent. The one associated with this quest is Andre, who has a unique spiky hairstyle. You can offer help and thus, take the quest.

Noid will also join the conversation. You will have to pass a Reaction Speed skill check by grabbing the key to the church door. Alternatively, you can fail the test (-1 health; a chance for 25 reals of “compensation”) or let the key fall to the ground and then pick it up.

Opening the church and checking out the Spookers in the church

Head west of the ravers tent (you can optionally unlock a shortcut along the way - you don't have to take a detour anymore).

Use the obtained key to open the main entrance to the church (see the screenshot above).

The Spooker is a mysterious figure that will appear at the ceiling of the church - we marked it in the screenshot. The Perception skill check can help you spot it (click on the orb that appears next to Harry's head).

Try to talk to Tiago - thanks to this conversation you will learn the motto AFTER LIFE - DEATH.

A full exploration of the church is possible (you will find a lot of reál and new items of clothing), but not mandatory. There is a computer next to a large stained glass window - you can look at it and enter the acquired password.

Talking to Soona about the nightclub

Soona will appear in the church. You can ask her about the idea of starting a nightclub in the church, but her initial attitude towards the idea will be negative.

Go back to the ravers tent to report to Andre what Soona said. Regardless of the responses you choose, you will agree to solve the problem.

Convincing or evicting Soona - an important choice

There are two possible outcomes:

1. Getting Soona to change her mind - you have to talk about cooperating with the ravers and pass a Suggestion skill check (it is worth putting on items of clothing increasing this skill beforehand). You will unlock a new quest Help Soona with her project. You have to make enough progress there in order for the ravers to be allowed into the church by Soona.
2. Throwing Soona out of the church - you must pass a Half Light skill check. This is a worse option, because it will make it impossible to complete Soona's quest and you will not meet her in any other location later in the game.

Completing the task

Regardless of how you solve the problem, talk to Andre about the fact that ravers can now move into the church. Wait for the task update message and visit the church. You will receive 70 XP and you can choose any name for the nightclub (it has no consequences).
